Alexander Dmitriev

Alma Mater: SPPU

Expertise: Clinical studies in Ayurveda

Dr. Alexander Dmitriev is an Ayurvedic physician and researcher holding a BAMS and MD (Ayu). He currently serves as a Research Fellow at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and collaborates with the World Health Organization (WHO). Recently, the WHO Regional Office in Turkmenistan invited him to design a course for the faculty at Turkmen Medical State University—a project that deepened his engagement with research methodology and statistics.

Passionate about demystifying complex concepts, Dr. Dmitriev now shares accessible, “simplified” insights on research and statistics, particularly in the context of medicine. His work emphasizes that while his examples may come from healthcare, the principles of scientific inquiry remain universal across disciplines.
